Naples Central School District Recruiting Substitute Teachers

According to a recent study, students will spend six months of his or her school career learning from substitute teachers. Because the number one factor related to increasing student achievement is a skilled educator, the Naples Central School District is recruiting motivated and responsible individuals to apply for substitute teaching positions.

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities
Provide instruction and assessments aligned with district curriculum based on lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher in a safe and positive learning environment.

Qualifications and Expectations
At least two years of higher education and a willingness to work hard and serve as a positive role model for our students.

Substitute Teacher Compensation
$95 a day for certified teachers as well as for non-certified individuals.
