New Faces in Naples!

Name: Mrs. Christine Green

Subject Area: Elementary School Administrative Intern

Why did you decide to complete your Administrative Internship in the Naples Central School District?

I decided to complete my internship at Naples Central School because Naples is an amazing community with a fantastic school district. The staff and students have been so welcoming, and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone! I went to a small district myself and think that smaller schools have so many wonderful things to offer their students. I am thrilled to spend some time learning about the school and community!

What do you like the most about your job?

I love being able to teach and to learn with the students and staff every single day.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and reading.

What types of books/magazines would we see on your bookshelf?

I really love all types of books. Right now, I enjoy reading biographies about historical figures in American history.

What is your favorite quote?

“The journey of a lifetime begins with the turning of a page.”  Rachel Anders

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is anything that contains chocolate!

Tell us a little about your family.

I grew up and went to school in Bloomfield, where my parents still live on their small farm. My younger brother and his family live in Conesus. I love spending time with my niece and nephew! My husband, Adam, and I live in Bristol with our dog Bear, two cats, and one turtle.

If you were to leave a legacy here in Naples-what would it be?

I would like to be remembered for inspiring a love of learning and for supporting students in being their most amazing selves.
